Block 15 of the Haidari camp was the SS detention and torture center for Jews, communists, and other resistance fighters during the German occupation.

Historical note: In March 1944, hundreds of Jews from Athens and other areas were held here before being transported to Rouf Station and from there, via Thessaloniki, to Auschwitz-Birkenau.
